Winter News and 2016 Spring Meeting

Happy New Year GWGA golfers!  Your board is looking forward to the season ahead.  Currently we have 49 paid members and hope to have a few more new people after the Spring Meeting.   For those who have paid, your handicap accounts will be activated and ready to go on our first league play date.

If you are reading this as a potential new member interested in our league, please check out our web pages, then contact our membership chair, Jeanie, and she will provide you with more information about our league, answer your questions and tell you how to proceed.  You may contact her at greendale@cox.net or 703-548-7334.

Mark your calendar with these dates:

February 14 sign up deadline for Trip to The Woods in WV May 17-19:  This promises to be a great trip, and it is only about a 90 minute drive!  Rough cost if 16 people go is approximately $225.  This includes three days of golf and two nights of lodging. Cottages have full kitchens. Last year we ate breakfast at the cottages, some packed lunches, others ate at the club house.  We may dine out for dinner. If you want to go let Lucinda angelsrwus@gmail.com know ASAP and she will provide you more information about making a deposit before February 15th.
